SINCE THE BEGINNING

One day my friend and player Mateusz Filipski saw me on the bus and invited to the basketball training. After the first practice I knew that this would be my passion and future. The beginnings were very difficult but thanks to the perseverance and the support of the family, I got to the point where I am today.

Since my first steps in basketball it's been a long time but my love to this sport has never changed. After several years of playing in the Polish league I decided to move on and play in professional leagues in Europe. I have played in Italy and France.

BASKETBALL AS A CHOICE

I was born 19.10.1989 in Poland. For 14 years I was a healthy, very active teenager. I played handball and football. In 2004, one day I woke up and could not move my legs, from that moment I started using a wheelchair to move. Doctors diagnosed me with severe disease Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

Since childhood I was interested in team sports so natural for me was the choice of a basketball wheelchair. Sport has always been a big part of my life so I could not imagine that my disability can prevent me from his. The beginnings were difficult, but with love to sport and family support I could deal with it.

"One of the most beautiful reasons why many people like wheelchair basketball is of how exciting it can be."

"The RGK Elite is one of the best products available on the market. It allows me to achieve my sports goals, in which the quality and how it fits me is really important."
